last year at the marriott

On the first day last year I was expected to wear a chef hat, chef coat, apron, name tag, and black shoes. But that was only if I was in the kitchen. The first day I had to peel and cut a 50 pound bag of potatoes. Afterwards I was expected to help other kids that were behind or help clean their mess so that their station was neat. On a different day I learned how to work with a mandolin to cut up like a million cucumbers. Then when I switched departments I had to wear a dress shirt, black pants, black apron, name tag and black shoes. On the first day in the room service department I had to run all over the place to give and take trays from the guests. There was a particular customer that was sick so we had to make him break feast even though it was a lunch rush so that got slowed down. However when we brought the guy his food he gave us each a ten dollar tip and apologized for all the trouble. That is all I remember from last year.
